Hi, I’m Kimberly Ward. I’m the breeder behind Peace, Love, and Puppies at the Creek located in Lillington, NC. We love poodles and doodles and make it our mission to match happy, healthy puppies with loving families. Our breeding policies are based on improving this breed and hybrids. I promise transparency in relation to health, temperament, and physical expectations of each puppy.
I am a newly retired English instructor. I love dogs. I have tons of love and patience, two acres, and a farmhouse in Harnett County, NC. I find joy in every aspect of dog breeding, especially matching families to pups! Pups are raised in a loving home, exposed to other dogs, daily household life, early appropriate neuro stimulation from day three.
I work with every puppy to assist them in achieving age appropriate goals. Everything I do is done with each puppy’s success in mind. It is my goal that every single puppy goes out into the world with the best possible start. It is my hope that every single puppy lives his/ her best life. Joy all around!

About The Puppies
-Enrichment & Socialization
From Day 3, we use early neurological stimulation with age-appropriate guidelines to optimize individual development in the first few weeks of life. We help them learn how to operate within boundaries, gain confidence in problem-solving, and experience love.
They have room to safely grow, play, and explore.
We also work on crate training, early potty training, and early commands, as time permits.
We stress age-appropriate confidence building, problem solving, and self-soothing by offering opportunities and challenges. Enrichment opportunities in addition to early training include introduction to various smells, surfaces, sounds, toys, car rides, safe outdoor play after they’ve had their shots, etc.
-Included with Puppy
We send our puppies home with a Starter Bag of Open Farm Puppy Food, various toys and supplies, as age appropriate. I try to send puppies home with the things that mean the most to them. Also included with each puppy is a great start in life (as detailed above).
-Health
Both parent dogs came to me as puppies from their respective breeder homes. They are DNA tested and cleared with flying colors. They are both healthy and know they are loved. They will never NOT be my pets first. I am blessed to be able to do breeding the way I want to do it. And, the way I want to do it goes beyond selling dogs. It starts for me with Pablo and Lulabel and little Emma (mini poodle). They come first. Their pups are their pups, so they come first right with them! It is my goal not to compromise care, not to compromise love, time, attention, cleanliness, and joy! All of this contributes to health!
Puppies come with a two-year general health guarantee. Parents have been cleared through Embark and Wisdom Panel, so puppies should be clear of common goldendoodle issues. I do not and can not guarantee conditions that may be due in part to circumstances after they leave my care. I do not tell you how to feed a pup that becomes your own dog when you take it home. I do not tell you how to raise your own dog in terms of exercise and enrichment. I do offer advice that will help your dog stay healthy. A healthy puppy who becomes a healthy dog. That is the goal!
Puppies get a full vet check when they get their first shots from our wonderful mobile vet. They are dewormed every two weeks by me. Again, our parent dogs have been Embark/ Wisdom Panel tested for breed-relevant issues/concerns. Puppies are given a high quality puppy food once they are weaned. They are provided with plenty of play, socialization, and age-appropriate, goal-related, personalized encouragement! I will never release a puppy whose health is uncertain.

I offer a two-year general health guarantee. A written contract protects both of us and ensures we both understand the terms of the puppy purchase.
