Shihpoos!!! My son below (with Kylo) introduced me to this little cross between a mini poodle and a shih tzu! They are simply as close to perfect as pups come unless you’re really just looking for a stuffed animal, and where’s the fun in that?? They are smart, sweet, playful, darling, fluffy, easy-to-train, hypo-allergenic, and on and on and on! Also featured below are Moki, Loki, and Pippa who are in wonderful forever homes in Virginia, Florida, and Chapel Hill!

EmmaJean gave birth to three lovely Shihpoos! We named them Nadine, Jewel, and Kylo! Nadine kept her original name and lives in Southport, NC! Jewel became Ruby Jewel and lives in Indian Trail, NC! Kylo lives with my son and his family in Garner, NC.
Frankie is the first picture in the group of four below. He’s everybody’s daddy! He belongs to Shih Tzu breeder (and straight-up wonderful person), Lisa Taylor, of Browns Summit! He is full of personality, beautiful, and good at his job!

EmmaJean gave birth to four beautiful Shihpoos! I named them after The Color Purple gang: Walker, Shug, Celie, and Sophia! Our only boy, Walker, now Loki, now lives in Florida! Shug, now Moki, lives in Northern Virginia! Celie, now Pippa, lives in Chapel Hill! Sophia, now Sophie, lives in Sanford!
MINI Poodles!!
December 25, 2023: Emma gave birth to a litter of three miniature poodles early Christmas morning! How perfect is that?!
We kept the two girls: Harper Lee followed in her mother’s footsteps in the breeding scene, and winsome Aunt Scout is in charge of security here at PLP@thecreek (all 12 pounds of her), as she will not be a breeding dog.
The only boy, Atticus, lives in Raleigh with a wonderful couple who have given him his best life and are generous with updates and pictures! That’s him in the third picture, dressed to attend the 2024 Christmas parade!
